-----Aluminum and stainless steel anodizing
Can you anodize aluminum & stainless steel would it be the same process?

Hi, Curtis. Sorry, nothing like the same process. Aluminum anodizing is a process that converts the aluminum to a relatively thick honeycomb-like layer of oxides and hydroxides that absorb dyes for color and which behaves very differently in almost every way from raw aluminum. Stainless steel anodizing is a proprietary process that simply colors the metal with a very thin diffraction layer.
