Can we store concentrated sodium hydroxide in zinc container?

Can we store concentrated solution of sodium hydroxide in a zinc container?

No -- but no flash card quizzes, please, Tanima. It isn't possible to tell from your question whether this is a homework question which you are supposed to be spending time thinking about, or whether it is a practical question you have as an intern, or what :-)

Please explain your situation. Thanks.

The answer is "NO." Zinc is amphoteric, it can act as an acid or a base. The base sodium hydroxide attacks the zinc.
