How to prevent golden colour in stainless steel cookware

I work for a cookware manufacturer company. Our cookers are made of 304L stainless steels. We have observed that the steel turns to a golden colour near the burners with time. This is an usual complaint from our clients and we would like to know how to prevent this event. The temperature does not exceed 300 °C. Perhaps can we use some coating, such as chromium electroplating?
Thanks a lot

Chromium is poisonous and cannot be used in food. perhaps you can flash it with platinum metals.

It's a small surface oxidation due to the temperature. If you clean it with a lemon it will take away easily.
Or just put the pan into a boiling water bath for few minutes.
