Coloring and etching aluminum for organic look

I have a client that is looking for laminate doors to an entertainment center with an organic feel and saw some aluminum that was colored as if naturally like steel. it had purple and pink organic style slight color to it. Is there any way to achieve this effect or any place I can go to for more information?

There are many ways to effect the surface of aluminum and many yes and techniques for applying them. But without seeing what you are describing it is difficult to provide any further specific information.
