Inhaled hydrochloric acid

I am a chemistry student and pour out some concentrated HCl into some water to dilute it, however for a short time I inhaled some fumes that made my nose burn immediately, since then which is hours later, my nose and chest still burns or feels a little irritated, and so does my lungs a bit. Could there be any damage and if not when will the irritation go away?

I do not know how you could inhale that much HCl fumes from a simple dilution of the acid, but that is a question for a doctor, not platers.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
