Strip Edge Wiper

We have been involved in Metal Strip processing line ( Rolling/Galvanising/Color coating) for many years, we are facing problem of wet (rinse water) edge of HR coil after processing from acid pickling Line. We currently use a compressed air wiping nozzle before hot air drier but result is not satisfactory and energy consumption is very high, also it is very difficult to align nozzle with strip edge as strip edge is not fixed for variable strip width and side tracking in line.Hope some one provide me best option/help to finding a "better way."

Hello Mr Patidar.

An Air knife correctly positioned at the point of water accumulation may work better if you add a conditioner into the final rinse station helping the water rinse off.
