-----Does H2O2 in waste water interfere with treatment?
The refinery effluent uses H2O2 FOR sulfide TREATMENT. The refinery effluent after sulfide reduction goes for FeCl coagulation for reducing High conductivity thru R.O plant. Does H2O2 addition affect coagulation?

A. Hi Subramanian.
Hydrogen peroxide spontaneously decomposes into water and oxygen, so the oxygen bubbles can interfere with coagulation and flocculation through a "ginger ale" or "champagne" effect.
