I don't normally suggest specific suppliers on this website, but I will in this case. Technic, Inc. has an acid gold strike that can be plated directly on 300 series S/S without alloying agents. I'm sure they will provide you with all process steps you will need to follow. It would be beneficial for you to know the gold thickness requirements from your customer so you can be sure the bath is a good fit.
