Stripping racks or hangers in minimum time

January 4, 2009

Presently I am using burning process for removal of powder coating from hangers. But it is affecting environment & as per legal rules we can't use this method. Also my hangers size is critical (different hangers for different parts), I am unable to use chemical stripping method. Suggest me suitable method

Hi, Rahul. If burning is forbidden and chemical removal is chemical stripping is impossible as well, it seems to me that the sole answer is mechanical removal by scraping or blasting -- or am I missing something? Good luck.

Ooops, yes, I am missing something: cryogenic treatment.
