-----Best acid dip for powder coating
Hi All, My name is Dan and I'm wrestling with abrasive blast or acid dip for my start up powder company. I'm having a time locating the proper acid for dipping? any suggestions?

Hi, Dan. The corrosion resistance of the parts you coat will depend more on the pretreatment process than on the powder you use. Abrasive blasting might be satisfactory, acid dipping will not be; but the 'right' answer is phosphatizing of steel parts and chromate conversion coating of aluminum ones.
