Stainless Steel....Black Oxide Finish

I was inquiring to see if and where I can purchase .093 dia. stainless steel rods with a black oxide finish. Preferably in 6 ft lengths. I would need approx. 100-500 pieces. at a time. Please advise.
Thanks, Doug

Hi, Doug. Black oxide is a fairly unusual finish for stainless, to the extent that I doubt that you will find a steel warehouse that stocks it. Rather, I think you go to Ryerson or another warehouse for the rod in 6-foot lengths, then contract with a plating shop to blacken it.
