-----Corrosion of Power Connector
September 26, 2008
We have a problem with corrosion of connectors in a unit we have produced, in this connector we have 4 pins (red:-48V, white and yellow: low Volt controllers; Blue: ground)
My question:
How come that red is always the first to corrode ?

The red one is the anode (+) connection. In the presence of conductive moisture the anode will dissolve (corrode)
Keep the connections clean and dry.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
