Left All-Clad Stainless Steel in Self-Cleaning Cycle in Oven

I left my All-clad Stainless steel frying pans in my oven during the self-cleaning cycle and now they have yellowed. Are these heat stains? Also, how can I get rid of the yellowing?

Yes heat discoloration, you can remove with Brasso [on eBay or Amazon], or Wenol[adv: Wenol on eBay or Amazon] metal polish and a soft cloth (diaper material). DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL under any circumstances. If they are highly polished do not use any abrasive compound or abrasive pad. If they have a brushed finish, you can use a scotch-bright pad rubbing with the grain only.

Electropolishing will also remove the yellow and brighten the surface at the same time.
