How to improve the surface wettability of electroless nickel coating

We are plating EN coating (Hi-P coating 4~7 microns thickness) on stainless steel component. We have a ink jet printing process after EN plating. Recently we have encountered Ink peeloff (Tape test fail) on EN surface due to poor surface wettability. We have tried many ways by improving the post plating rinsing conditions but still we are encountering this Ink dislodge issue. We need your valuable inputs to resolve this issue.
