Need weather resistant clear coating for bright aluminum finish on architectural panels
We need a liquid clear coat material to preserve the bright metallic finish on brushed aluminum panels on the exterior of a commercial building in Phoenix, Arizona. Approximately 1000 sq. ft.in area. The material must be resistant to weather including heat and hot sunlight, and preserve the surface for 10 years or longer.

Hi, Paul. Easy to apply one-part clear coatings are available from several sources including the site's supporting advertisers shown in the banner at the bottom of the page, but I don't think I'd be confident of a 10-year life from something that simple. I'd have more confidence if the aluminum were bright dipped and anodized first, or if the aluminum were powder coated.
