We are manufacturing Power Supply for lighting, please let me know the ideal powder coating thickness on sheet metal housing measuring approximately 0.8 mm thickness ?

You should aim at 70 ±10 microns (25 microns = 1mil). Remember that powder only protects the substrate so long as no damage occurs to the applied film. To ensure good overall protection, a pre-treatment process would be a wise consideration.
