Restoring satin finish to DeLorean panels with hand held rotary wheel

We would like to restore the satin finish to 3'x 5' non flat stainless steel panels. The profile varies about four inches, flat surface to curved. Is there a four inch wide,or so, rotary brush or other that can be driven with a variable hand drill to refinish the satin grain?. Your suggestion would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

The original finish was applied to flat panels, probably in a single pass under a 4 or 5 foot long abrasive roll.

You *might* duplicate the original finish with abrasive wheels or pads in a hand drill, but it will take lots of experimentation to find the proper combination of abrasive, speed, pressure.

Unfortunately I have to think that it will not be possible to ever match new pieces, polished by hand, to the originals.
