Reverse electroplating silver is it possible?

I have a friend that asked me to look for the answer to that Question, they do not own a computer, and since I studied Chemistry in school they asked me. I now ask you can it be done?

Use the plated material as the cathode and whatever you want to recover the material on as the anode.
This process would likely involve chemicals hazardous to your health. I would advise against it.
