What coating for deep drawn stainless steel form tools

Q. Reading a handful of articles a lot of authors are saying to use CVD Tic and Most coatings for severe draw conditions. I am doing a severe draw and having issues with the Tin coating and everyone that I have talked to (salesmen) cannot give me a straight answer on what to use. If anyone, with the exception of someone trying to sell me something, give me an experienced answer on what is the best coating to use in this situation. With the cost of coatings I would rather not experiment.

Thanks Jamie VanBeek

Q. Hello, Did you find a solution to your problem? This is a problem I would like to solve for existing tooling - so I don't want to use CVD. I was hoping that maybe plasma nitriding and a PVD coating would do the job.
