International Military Corrosion Standards

July 15, 2008

We will produce a Military Shelter for one of our client.
The base material and Aluminium and it will be coated with paint.
Do you know any Military (International)Testing Standards for corrosion, thickness etc?

Hi, Kerem. An international military standard sounds like an oxymoron ("If you're going to shoot at me, I want to make sure your bullets are up to snuff to penetrate my shelter. Fair is fair").

Nonetheless, all American military standards are available on the internet at assist.daps.dla.mil/quicksearch and it's all free; when you download them your bill is sent to the American public. If you use the various search terms you have already mentioned, you'll quickly find the specs you need.
