PROCESS SEQUENCE: HCl - SOAK-ANODIC DEGREASE-ETCHING(H2S04)-HCL(10%)-NI.STRIKE-
--DUPLEX NICKEL(10-12 MICRONS)-DEC.CHROME-DRAGOUT-NEUTRALISER-RINSE-
--RINSE-- HOT WATER RINSE--DRY.
I am observing rust spots after 4-5hours after plating.

Hi, Noil. You shouldn't be observing rust spots 4-5 years after duplex nickel and chrome on stainless. After final rinsing, swish a few in a bucket of DI or distilled water to see if there is something grossly wrong with your rinse water.

Hi , the only explanation I can think of is that the parts you are plating are porous and will need to be better rinsed . try dipping a part in a caustic solution to see if the spots disapear . it must be chrome spotting out and not rust , as the part is s/s .
