Hardware Requirements for Chemfiming?

Hello all,
I am an engineering intern for an FAA repair station and have been given the task to find out the related cost to establish a small immersion coating system for chem filming.

We need to know what hardware is required to determine the cost of Chemfilming in house. Tanks, Vents, Electricty, HVAC, e.t.c.
We have no experience in this field so the more details the better. Also, any links and sources for information presented would be helpful.
We would also like some pointers on the environmental considerations we would need to consider, If this is OSha based or not.

Hi, Todd. You can start with books like "Aluminum How-To", and Mil specs like MIL-DTL-5541 [on DLA] to get an understanding of the process issues, and the Electroplating Engineering Handbook [on AbeBooks or eBay or Amazon] to understand the equipment. You can talk to suppliers who offer chem film processes, for example, Luster-On, CST-Surtec, Metalast and Henkel for the new RoHS compatible chem film.

Please be aware that there are consultants who specialize in plating and chem filming, and that the best time to retain them is early on. When I did consulting I was sometimes consulted only after little wiggle room was left and the choice was between a somewhat poor installation vs. a very poor installation :-)
