Want brand new exhaust system gold chromed, gold anodized, or gold powder coated

June 28, 2008

Hi ALL,

I would like to know of a Plating business that would be able to GOLD Chrome Plate or Gold Anodize or Gold Powder Coat my Exhaust Can, Exhaust tips, and Rims.

The exhaust I own is brand new and never used. If the Exhaust Can & Exhaust Tips were to be gold chrome plated, would the quality last from the high temperatures with everyday use? If yes, how much would it cost to have the items listed above GOLD Chrome Plated?

The same applies for Gold Anodize. I've been told the Gold Chrome won't withstand the heat, so I figure this would be best. Yet my Exhaust parts are made of Stainless Steel (-84.4002.I) I'm guessing the Gold Anodize would withstand the heat from the exhaust with no problems. So, if this process is better than Gold Chroming than how much would it cost to have my:

Exhaust Can
Exhaust Tips (x3)
Rims (x2)(5 spoke)

The same question applies for Powder Coating. I'd like to have the Gold Coloring match the Gold thats already on my bike? Can anyone help me out? Your replies are much appreciated. Thanks!
