Re dipping engraved ring

I am having a white gold ring engraved for my husband as a surprise, but was not able to get it re dipped before the engraving, when I next get the ring re dipped, will it fill in the engravings in the inside of the ring?

Hi, Natalie. No, the rhodium is much thinner than the engraving.
