-----Compatibility of Rodine with Plastic & Resin
Q. We are thinking to prepare an acid solution in a truck (used to transport HCl) with HCl and inhibitor Rodine. I would like to know if Rodine can affect the internal covering made of Plastic+fiberglass and resin Derakeni (CatBO411)?

A. Hello,
I don't know why are adding Rodine (see note) to the HCl if your Truck Tank is already coated with plastic.
Rodine should be used for parts being immersed into HCl solution.
Either way, Rodine wouldn't attack (in the case) your Resin (alcohol is about 12% diluted).

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
