Anyone have any suggestions on the best product to strip nickel from copper.

Hi, Michael. We don't do brand-to-brand comparisons here, we talk about generic and technical issues. But there are proprietary nickel strippers which work well, and one brand is Metalx (Ronatec.us) [a finishing.com supporting advertiser]. Good luck.
