Stainless Steel Cookware for induction cooking?
I have been trying to nail this down. I am remodeling my kitchen and want to utilize an induction cooktop. In some of the literature it mentions a magnet must stick to my cookware. I own a restaurant and tried it on my stainless pots, no luck. At home my Wolfgang Puck Cookware is listed as 18/10 Stainless. I've seen ads showing 18/10 stainless as "induction ready". Will my 18/10 stainless cookware work on an induction cooktop?

Robert,
I purchased a saute pan about five years ago for our induction cooking surface. It is a tri-ply s/s make up.
18/8 s/s interior
Aluminum core
18/0 exterior layer
My wife and I use it almost every day and love it. The pan has a lifetime warranty as well. I think 18/10 s/s will work O.K. as long as the mfg. stands behind the claim of being "induction ready".
