Poly-ond vs. Armoloy

Q. How does Poly-ond compare to Armoloy for reduced coefficient of friction and lubricity. I want to know which one is better to use in feeding nickel plated CRS parts.

A. Hi Eugene,

Pardon my absolute ignorance (I was in the plastics fabricating field for a zillion years) but wot in der
hell is Poly-ond ? Polypropylene? Polyethylene?

I'd imagine that any Polyoelefin would be OK ... but my preference would be towards ordinary Pe, not PP.

Cheers from White Rock where the sun always shines, even if it's above the clouds.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
