Aluminum bright finishing

(2000)

Hello, I'm Hoping somebody can help. I have a customer that is requiring some aluminum parts to be bright. What I mean by this is, a polished look without the polishing. Surface finish would be however they come off the machine, they would be fully machined. have heard about bright-dipping and burnishing, but don't know if that's the way to go. Any info would be a big help. Thanks August

We do bright dipping & anodizing here & it is sometimes confusing to determine what a customer wants. Sometimes the pieces come in clean machined and somewhat bright & all you do is anodize them without etching. Sometimes you do need to bright dip or ball burnish as a pretreat before anodizing.
