Can stainless steel be electropolished in coil form?

(2000)

I am an engineer for a sports equipment manufacturer in Colorado. We make alpine skis with a .015" thick, very high strength, 301 stainless steel cap. The current finish is just the rolled finish and I am interested in an advanced decorative finish using electropolish. Is it possible to electropolish the steel in coil form (widths from 4.5" to 24"), and does anyone know of companies that can perform this function? Thank you for your time and interest.

Yes, it is very possible to process stainless coil. Should the requirement be there, it is possible to design, manufacture and service a simple and safe electropolishing unit, which you could operate yourselves.
