Wanted Aluminum Wire heavy gauge

I am looking for beautiful aluminum wire to make Jewelry out of. So far I can't find it. Its heavy gauge but very light weight. Makes beautiful bracelets for watches. It comes in many colors. Thank you if you reply.

Check with your local welding supply shop. Aluminum welding wire comes in sizes from 0.24" to 1/8" and larger. MIG wire will be in diameters up to about 1/16" and on spools ranging from a couple of pounds on up. TIG wire will be in the same range of sizes but will be in 36" rods. These are usually sold by the pound. The same info applies to stainless steel wire...if your interested. These wires do not come in colors...only the natural color of the metal. The welding wire for carbon steel sometimes has a bright copper finish..looks quite pretty, but would be terrible for crafts as the coating is super thin and will rust! Hope this helps!

You can find a great variety of aluminum thick gauge wire here and in a variety of colors! East West Dyecom carries it. I have got a lot of neat products from them with great quality!
