Paint stripping

I do chrome plating on Alloy wheels. One big challenge is to strip the paint off some European wheels. Those undercoats are nasty and sticky. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of them without blasting? I have tried a dozen commercial paint strippers so far. Momo, Mercedes, BMW are amongst the brands.

Have you tested fluidised bed stripping? Our company is doing similar application in the USA and Belgium.
