Desmutting after a boiling seal

Hi my name is Justin I am the general manager of anodizing at L.R.T. I have been trying to find a way to thoroughly de-smut parts after they have been boil sealed. Right now we have a chemical {can't think of its name} that we are trying and haven't had a whole lot of success. We also use scotchbrite, but we aren't able to get into the nooks and crannies, leaving behind an iridescent smut that can still be seen. If anyone has information on the subject your reply is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Justin
