Corrosion behaviour of nitrided steels
I understand that plasma nitriding for stainless steel is preferably conducted at low temperature to have good corrosion resistance, I am interested to know if low temperature nitriding would be beneficial (in terms of corrosion resistance) when performed on low-alloy carbon steels. please give me your advice/comments.
