-----Weld discoloration
I am relatively new to this site so please forgive me if this one has been covered in the past. I am a recent engineering graduate and enjoy metalworking in my spare time. I need to remove the discoloration caused by welding. I want to avoid abrasives and buffing because the welded pieces have a #8 finish. I have tried some commercial products, but the results were not so great. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Matt,
The weld discolorization can be removed using a stainless steel weldment cleaner and a portable power supply.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
