Chrome Wheels VS Chrome Plated Wheels

Is there much difference in Chrome wheels and Chrome Plated wheels? Are the Chrome Wheels a better quality for lasting endurance VS the plated ones? I was unaware there were Chrome Plated Wheels out there. I'm shopping on the internet and saw this on a web site. Thank you, David

There is no such thing as solid chrome wheels, David. Please see our FAQ about chrome. However, even the experts who plate these wheels for a living consider them to be very fragile. Like flowers they are things of beauty but little durability :-)
