What do you call Bead Blasted then Electropolished?
Hi,
We have been making stainless steel street furniture with various finishes - Satin Finish, Electropolished (Cold Rolled), Electropolished (Hot rolled), and Bead Blasted.
We are just now bead blasting a cold rolled seat, after this bead blasting process we are going to electroploish it. This will give a nice 'mottled' effect. It will take away or dullen the reflective finish that an electropolished cold rolled seat would have, and will brighten up the finish a bead blasted seat would have. I'll know in about a week for sure, but it is likely to have a similar appearance of electropolished hot rolled.
Does any body know is there an existing name for the finish we will achieve. We will just called it 'Bead Blasted Electropolished' in our communications with architects, but if there is a standard term for this we would like to use it.
