Need non-sticky Teflon coating on PP

2007

We are using a Semi circular bucket made of PP and want a non-sticky Teflon coating inside the bucket. this is to handle Indian ethnic fried snack smeared with seasoning mixed with cooking oil. The excess seasoning is adhering to bucket surface making it difficult to clean. Can you recommend a suitable coating which will solve our problem and also the feasibility of coating on to Polypropylene?

Regards,

Krishnan Raman

You'd better use a silicon rubber coating, It's cheaper and you will have less problems. To cure the teflon you need high temperatures and PP will not resist. Spain

Polish it to a very high shine or very smooth surface and use a product like Pam before each use.
