Petroleum Refueller epicoating-Surface preparation

Sir,

I am Engineer with Hindustan Petroleum corporation Limited and presently looking after the fabrication of Refuellers for Aviation fuel application. I would like to know how I can finish the petroleum tank surface (inside) for application of Paint. The paint used is HBTL 78 - Berger. How can the sand blasting be done ?

Blasting is not a good option unless you have opening in your tank to release pressure; therefore, I suggest you look into a chemical system. Maybe phosphate?
