Conductivity difference between clear and yellow chromate

Is there a conductivity difference between yellow chromate and clear chromate on and die cast aluminum substrate ( for MIL spec) product?

Yes there is a difference, Jim; the thinner clear chromates are more conductive. Please see MIL-DTL-5541 [⇦ this spec on DLA] and the distinction between type 1 and type 3 coatings. Good luck.
