Don't try to re-invent the wheel.
Buy a standard chemical pump for this application. There are hundreds on the market. Any metal finishing supplier will advise you

Double diaphragm pumps with "Viton" contact media, Mag drive chemical pumps.
Chemical pumps are a commodity almost.
I wouldn't rig up anything. Buy a pump that will last you years if it is matched to the solution you are pumping.

We do a lot of business in this field, we use Polypropylene material for all ferric applications in both metal finishing and water treatment applications (subject to temperature). A mag drive pump is also best option to keep plant and fingers clean !Ashley Fenn
