How to keep steel from rusting while looking natural?
I am looking for a way to keep steel from rusting in a beach environment. I would like to keep it natural looking (distressed finish). I have thought about oils, varnishes, etc., but would appreciate any help on what is best. I would like the steel to remain in a "natural" appearance, so heavy finishes would not be desirable. I have no experience in this, so any help would be appreciated.
