Anodizing using AC superimposed on DC.

We are in the business of aluminium anodizing since last 15 years and have been carrying out normal, two-stage electrocolor and hard anodizing. We would like to know how to go about "anodizing using AC superimposed on DC" as this method claims to use lesser energy while producing hard coating. We would also like to know more about PTFE sealing.
