Nickel Electroplate Vs. Electroless Nickel

I am currently reviewing a proposal from a company requesting to replace their nickel electroplating process ( FED-QQN-290 (replaced by AMSQQN290 [affil link]) , Class 1, Grade E) with electroless nickel ( MIL-C-26074 [affil link or DLA], Class 1, Grade B). The parts are contained within plastic fuze cable assemblies, and are not directly exposed to the elements. Are there any issues to be concerned about with this substitute?

It depends on the application, I would guess ductility first for something that is called a cable, then stress, solderability, elongation, ductility, cost.
