Nickel Electroplate Vs. Electroless Nickel
I am currently reviewing a proposal from a company requesting to replace their nickel electroplating process ( SAE-AMS-QQ-N-290 [link by ed. to spec at TechStreet] , Class 1, Grade E) with electroless nickel ( Mil-C-26074 [link by ed. to spec at TechStreet], Class 1, Grade B). The parts are contained within plastic fuze cable assemblies, and are not directly exposed to the elements. Are there any issues to be concerned about with this substitute?Marc Pepi

It depends on the application, I would guess ductility first for something that is called a cable, then stress, solderability, elongation, ductility, cost.
