Post treatment coating for Salt Bath Nitriding

Q. Hello, I'm a design engineer working on implementing Salt Bath Nitriding into some of our Zinc plating applications.

I need to know what are some of the post treatment coatings that can be applied? The nitriding process leaves surface porosity.

I have been told about Rust Veto, but are there others?

Thanks

A. Hi Elizabeth. Have you investigated Kolene's Quench-Polish-Quench process whereby (as I understand it) an intermediate polishing step removes the porosity?
