Perhaps another resident of Mumbai can alert you to the effluent regulations, Aun, but such regulations differ from area to area and country to country. Generally you will need to remove the heavy metals (probably mostly zinc) by neutralization, precipitation, and clarification or filtration. Additionally there is probably a limitation of what quantity or percentage of phosphates you can discharge.
