Is Galvanisation Process done in-line?

Please let me know how the galvanisation is done on the pipes in a large factory? Whether it is done in line process or afterwards?

Sometimes the galvanizing line is in the pipe factory, sometimes it's a separate business. Galvanizing is a several-step process and the material handling methods need to suit the process.

There probably is no technical reason that pipe could not go right in-line to galvanizing from the seamless welder, or whatever the last fabrication step is. But I personally haven't seen it, so I presume the overall logistics tend to not work out.
