Q. Hi, I'm a process engineer in the plastics moulding industry in the UK. I am being asked to get one of our mould tools re-textured to the Society of the Plastics Industry specification #6. This is an American standard and our British toolmaker needs to know the VDI equivalent. I can find no comparison table and I need to be able to let our tool maker know what is required. Can anyone help?
