Artist wants chrome finish for a mens shirt

Hi,

I am wanting to stiffen the arm of a mens shirt and finish it with a chrome plating. Is this possible, and if so what should I be asking of the finishers in my area.

It is possible, Simon. You would ask them to metallize and chrome plate it. However, if you want it to be real, heavy, metal you could also ask that they electroform on it with nickel instead. But if it's only for a bright reflective appearance, with no need to actually be chrome or metal, the new generation of chrome-look paints is very good. See the banner ad at top of this page.
