Looking for a solution on low friction

I am currently working on a project that involves pulling cured silicone up onto a core. I need to find a material or coating that will let me pull 25 inches of cured silicone up onto this core with out it rolling over onto itself. I need some thing with a very low coefficient to friction and good wear.

To my understanding silicone is very sticky to most materials (metals and non-metals). I doubt that even teflon which has the less coefficient of friction will do any good in your case. Perhaps you will need some sort of liquid film like water, soap, oil or an air cushion.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
